Between 2012-2016, we operated the Press Bike out of the back of our wonderful Madsen. I printed fabric banners with wood type that we velcroed to the sides. The first press we used was a tiny Sigwalt before transitioning to homemade galley presses that were easier for kids. We visited a number of events, like the Renegade Craft Fair, the opening of the 606 Trail, and Kidical Mass rides.
We had to take a break in 2016 following the death of my husband, but still have our beloved Madsen bike. Maybe someday we’ll piece together the Press Bike again!
