Silents Are Golden
There are no words for how we feel about silent films at starshaped press. We were able to track down the antique metal typefaces used for the film’s intertitles, and we’ve created these cards in our Silents Are Golden series to show them off!
They are handprinted with antique type and ornaments on steel gray paper (you can either use black or silver pens on it), with silver ink. There’s a light varnish-like tint behind the silver to make the frame pop. The card folds at the top and measures 3.5×5”.
